Frankfurt, Germany is back in stock. We’ve brought new capacity online, so you can deploy a server in Frankfurt again today.
What’s Available
Frankfurt servers run on the same platform as the rest of our network:
- Full hardware virtualization with KVM, not containers
- FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Linux, and the rest of our Operating System lineup
- IPv4 and IPv6 included
- BGP sessions available, so you can announce your own prefixes
- Deploy, manage, and reinstall from the Phoenix dashboard
Why Frankfurt
Frankfurt is one of Europe’s main interconnection points, which means low latency to the rest of Europe and strong routes to the Middle East and Asia. If you’ve been waiting for a European location, or want a second region alongside Los Angeles, now is a good time.
